Signing in with Apple


Rest assured, your credentials are still available!

PIACET has discontinued support for "Sign in with Apple", as it creates several challenges related to account recovery and support.

However, all past accounts previously set up via Apple ID are still 100% accessible, following the instructions below.

To find out whether you used Sign in with Apple, and identify the exact email address:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
    1. Choose the Apple Account option (this is usually at the very top, with your name, avatar, and might say "Apple Account, iCloud, and more" below your name)
    2. Choose the Sign in with Apple option. (not Sign-In & Security)
    3. From here, you'll see a list of all apps you've signed in with Apple before...
    4. If you see PIACET, choose it.
      1. From here, you should see the email address in use with our app. You can copy and paste it right from here.
    5. If you don't see PIACET, that means you haven't used Sign in with Apple in the past.
  2. If you see an address that looks like something@privaterelay.appleid.com, that means you're using Apple's "Private Relay" option.  These will still work, and will forward emails sent from @piacet.com to your primary Apple email address.
  3. Once you have identified the email address, simply sign in with that email address.
  4. We highly recommend adding your best current email address to your account once you've successfully signed in.

Once you are able to successfully sign in, we highly recommend updating your account with your preferred email address to avoid any access issues in the future.
